As Girl Scouts around the world celebrate our 100th Birthday, Girl Scouts of Central California South are inviting everyone to explore with them how Investing in Today = Success for Tomorrow. Customers are invited to enjoy some of America's favorite nuts and chocolate snacks, and the joy of reading, which can be found in any magazine, by purchasing items from the Council-sponsored Nuts and Magazines Product Program.
This program is a perfect combination between educational activities and money earning opportunities for Troops. In 2011, girls will learn how
Investing in Today = Success for Tomorrow by relating how the past influences our future from inventions to innovations. Girls will also learn the 5 Skills they will need to be a success today AND tomorrow which include
Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills, and Business Ethics.

Magazine Product Program is a great way that Girl Scout friends and families can support Girl Scouts by renewing their favorite magazines; subscribing to new magazines; purchasing books and CDs; and by ordering their favorite nuts and candy snacks. Proceeds from the Fall Product Program will help give start up funds to support Troop activities, Council sponsored services/programs and community service projects. Join your Girl Scout on this delicious journey!
Through this program, which also promotes reading and advocacy, your daughter will invest in her success for tomorrow. For many girls, the Girl Scout Product Programs are their first experience in setting goals and working with others as a team. These programs give girls the opportunity to learn and practice valuable life skills such as responsibility, honesty, integrity, money, time management, and communication skills.
Parent involvement is very important to your daughter's experience in the Nut and Magazine Program. With your support, she will be more motivated and more successful in reaching her goals and she will have more fun too! We encourage parents to help their daughter by supporting her product program activities, not by doing the work for her. Thank you in advance for making our Fall Product Program a fun and safe experience for your daughter and the girls in her Troop!
Two of the founding principles of Girl Scouting are honesty and fairness. Everyone participating in the Product Program must follow the Girl Scout Promise & Law.
Thank you for your support of the Girls, Troops, and the Council by purchasing or participating in the Fall Product Sale!
