Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts join forces to expand membership while support food drive efforts

Girl Scouts of Central California South and the Sequoia Council, Boy Scouts of America are joining forces again this year to expand their membership by inviting the community to join them in the “Feed the Need” Community Food Drive.

They are asking patrons to bring five or more cans or non-perishable food items to the Fair in return for free admission on October 11 from 11:00am – 10:00pm. Once inside the Fair, boys and girls can complete and educational tour of exhibit buildings and turn in a Scout Activity Sheet to earn a “Fair Fun” Patch.

Also on this day ONLY, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are offering a FREE membership to NEW scouts who sign up that day.

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are looking to surpass the amount of cans donated last year! Please help by bring five or more canned food items to the Big Fresno Fair on Thursday October 11, 2012 from 11:00 – 10:00 PM! In return for you donation you will be able to get into the fair for free!
