They also went to Wild Water Adventure Park in Clovis for the Splash Off! activity. The girls had a great time. They are also working on their aMAZE Journey. For their Take Action Project the girls designed an anti-bullying poster. They hope to be able to distribute them into their classrooms when school resumes.

Troop 2729 with the founders of Break the Barriers, Deby and Steve Hergenrader.  As part of their badge work for the Try-Its badge “fair play,” the girls toured the Break the Barriers facility and gained great insight about differently-abled individuals and athletics.  Steve led the tour and it was very informative and fun! He even had the girls do an activity that children with dyslexia have to frequently do (as seen in the second picture). It wasn’t easy and the girls gained a better perspective as a result.
