GSCCS will review and approve the use of the Girl Scout service mark (logo or “Girl Scout” name) on T-shirts, patches, other apparel and marketing materials, including flyers and banners, by troops and service units, provided the merchandise is:
o Not for sale or resale and not involving fee-based activities, including camp
o For troop/group/service units and purchased with group funds and given to every member at no cost.
The design needs to be submitted to the GSCCS Communications department for approval to ensure that it meets graphic guidelines.
Designs can include the Girl Scout service mark with the service unit or troop number for identification, but cannot include the GSCCS Council service mark (which is reserved for GSCCS use for internal purposes including recruitment, program materials, gifts, awards and recognitions). Request the Girl Scout service mark and font from the GSCCS Communications department.
