Are you interested in traveling, making new Girl Scout friends and so much more? Then the Travel Pathway is the way for you to be involved in Girl Scouting! Girl Scouts of Central California South is planning yearly trips to allow older Girl Scouts and adults the opportunity to travel to major Girl Scout events and sites around the world.

Travel Group Meetings are where girls plan future trips and fundraising activities. For more information on joining the Travel Group please contact the Program Leadership Manager at mloyd@girlscoutsccs.org or (800) 490-8653 ext. 200.

Meetings are open to all girls and adults interested in learning about future travel opportunities and are held at the Fresno and Bakersfield Council Offices from 6pm to 7pm. Please contact mloyd@girlscoutsccs.org prior to attending a Travel Group Meeting.

Destinations travel adventures, which range from two days to three weeks and are for all Girl Scouts ages 11-17, whisk you to the far corners of the Earth. You’ll meet remarkable girls, develop leadership skills, gain confidence, and enjoy valuable learning opportunities. You will have the most awesome, outrageous, unforgettable trip of your life!

Trips designed for individual Girl Scouts from across the nation and globe. Girls must at least 11 years old to participate. Each Destination has its own age requirements. Please check the listing for details.

Not ready for a destination?

Try a Getaway instead – two to four day events that take place all over the country and don’t require an application. Getaways are short-term travel opportunities for Girl Scout troops or groups.
