Troops are invited to participate in the 2024 World Thinking Day celebration by representing a country of their choice at our council-wide event! Troops interested in participating are encouraged to learn about a country and share the information that they have researched with Girl Scouts that attend this fun event. Troops should design and plan the decor for their booth, share information and educate visiting Girl Scouts, and prepare an activity that best represents their country. Troops are encouraged to immerse themselves in the culture of their selected country with costumes, decor, and more...the options are unlimited!

Prizes will be awarded to the best booths in each region.

Each country booth must have:

  • A display (board, costumes, etc.)
  • SWAPS, passport stamp/sticker
  • Food and/or activity
  • Two girls to be your country's flag bearers in our Opening Ceremony

To avoid duplicates, please select the country your Troop would like to represent by filling out the Country Selections form here  2024 World Thinking Day Country Selection Form. The deadline to select your country is: Saturday, February 1, 2024. With over 150 countries to choose from, we hope to have representation from regions all over the globe.
All grade levels are welcome to participate in this girl-led experience.

Registration is free for participants when hosting a booth. Please be sure to register each girl and adult that will be stationed at your booth. Troops should plan to have a representative and chaperone at their booth at all times as girls may also want to visit other booths.
