As participants in the Girl Scout Cookie Program®—the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world—Girl Scouts also gain five skills as they build their business smarts, earn money for activities they choose, and prepare for amazing adventures that last a lifetime.

Please Note: Entering the Cookie Booth Lottery early does not increase your chances of being selected. All entries, whether submitted on the first day or the last day, are given the same consideration. Every participant has an equal opportunity to be chosen for a booth location.

July/August 2026

Recognitions will be delivered directly to the Girl Scout office. From there, Service Unit Directors or Council Coordinators will distribute them to Troop Coordinators, who will then ensure recognitions are provided to Girl Scouts.

Shopping Road Exception
Shopping Road will follow a separate distribution process. Service Units will be assigned a scheduled pick-up date, and any delays will be communicated accordingly.

Cupboard Hours: Hours will vary and will be dependent on planned orders. Pick ups must be ordered through the ABC system 24 hours in advance.

In Lieu of Form:
This year, we are updating the process for our In Lieu of Recognitions Form. All Girl Scout groups, from Daisies through Ambassadors, now have the option to complete and submit the form to opt in to the In Lieu of Recognitions program.

To ensure fairness and accuracy, Troops are required to hold a vote, document the results in meeting minutes, and complete the official voting form. These materials must then be submitted through Cognito for council review and approval.
Just a friendly reminder that this does not include the 50-Package Membership Incentive. This is a council-wide incentive that all troops participate in as we celebrate Girl Scouts reaching this exciting milestone together.

Boothing

2026 Boothing Do Not Call List - prior to approaching any businesses for boothing opportunities, please verify that the establishment is not listed on the ‘Do Not Call’ list. This list gets updated throughout the Cookie Season, so check back often!

2026 Cookie Booth Request- the ‘ask letter’ to request permission from a Store Manager/Owner to booth at their location. You can complete the entire process now online! Here is the form to fill out and have the business owner sign.

After your troop booth has been secured, enter your location into the ABC Smart Cookies platform, under Troop Secured Booth.
