Fall Product Program Resources

Powering Future Adventures:

Every fall, Girl Scouts in Central California South have the opportunity to fund amazing experiences through the Fall Product Program. Girl Scouts reach out to family and friends to take orders for chocolates, nuts, and magazine subscriptions. Orders can be placed in person or online through each girl’s personalized storefront. Items arrive just in time for Thanksgiving and make great holiday gifts!

Through this program, girls learn financial literacy and develop five entrepreneurial skills: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics – all while collaborating with their troop and having lots of fun.

The Fall Product Program is designed for easy participation, and troops get a head start on funding their activities for the year.

September 1: Fall Product Program Begins (Order Cards and Online Orders start)
September 1: Booth and Lemonade Stands Begin
September 16: In Lieu of Forms due (Physical Rewards Opt-Out Cut-off Date)
September 30: Fall Product Service Unit Director confirms their delivery site address by this date in the M2 System.
September 30: Last day for Order Card purchases entered into the M2 system

November 3: Parent Delinquency Forms are due in the online form, and Girl Payments are due in the M2 Ordering system.
November 4: Girl Rewards Order due in M2 Ordering system, Troops Review & Adjunct Girl Rewards Orders in M2OS, Troops enter all Financial Transactions into M2OS
November 6: Troop Bank Deposits
November 9: 100% ACH Withdrawal

January/February 2027

Rewards are delivered/shipped to Service Unit Directors for disbursement to Troop Leaders and to Girl Scouts.

In Lieu of Form: Due Wednesday, September 16 - This year, we are updating the process for our In Lieu of Recognitions Form. All Girl Scout groups, from Daisies through Ambassadors, now have the option to complete and submit the form to opt in to the In Lieu of Recognitions program.

To ensure fairness and accuracy, Troops are required to hold a vote, document the results in meeting minutes, and complete the official voting form. These materials must then be submitted through Cognito for council review and approval.

Rewards

Ways to Participate toggle arrow

There are 3 ways to participate… Girl Scouts can choose them all or customize their sale!

1) In-Person Sales

Participants receive an order card with pictures, descriptions, cost per item, and information, such as gluten-free products, kosher, etc., for nuts and candies available.

Order Card:

Record items that customers wish to order. Explain that products will be delivered by the Girl Scout in November. Be sure to fill out the order card completely. Payment may be collected at the time of order (whenever possible) or at the time of delivery.

Care to Share:

The Care to Share program offers customers the chance to purchase products that will be donated to Operation Gratitude. These products go directly to first responders, the military, and medical professionals. The participants receive credit for the donation, and the Council will donate the products. This option is also available for online purchase.

How to Use the Order Card

Record items that customers wish to order. Explain that the products will be delivered by the Girl Scouts in November. Be sure to fill out the order card completely. Payment may be collected at the time of order (whenever possible) or at the time of delivery.

2) Online Store Orders

The online platform used for the Fall Product Program is called M2OS. This platform allows participants to enter products ordered on the order card, set up a store, track online orders, and more.

To take orders online, a participant must set up their own personalized online M2OS store. All orders and payments online will be automatically credited to the girl.

For magazines and more, a customer can only order and pay through the participants' online M2OS store. Magazine, Tervis Tumblers, and Girl Scout Themed Mini Bark Box orders will be delivered directly to the customer. A customer orders, renews, and pays for a subscription in the online store.

For nuts and chocolates with the direct delivery option, the customer orders, pays, and the product is shipped directly to the customer.

For nuts and chocolates with the girl delivery option, the customer orders, pays online, and the product is delivered by girls. Online girl delivery orders are automatically added to a girl’s order in M2OS and delivered with order card orders to their Service Unit Director.

3) Booths and Lemonade Stands

A booth takes place in front of a business, with the permission of the store owner. A drive-thru booth is permitted; however, only adults may approach vehicles. Booth sales may not take place on streets or medians.

A lemonade stand is an individual stand located on residential property that is owned by the parent/guardian or by someone they know. Individual Girl Scouts and Juliettes may host a lemonade stand with adult supervision at all times.

Troops and Juliettes will need to secure their own booth locations; Council does not secure booths for Fall Product. All booths must be marked with Girl Scout signage. If a location requests a Certificate of Insurance (COI), please contact Customer Care at (800) 490-8653 or by email at customercare@girlscoutsccs.org.

To secure a booth, contact the store owner/manager and establish a time and date your Girl Scout/Troop will be there. Bring plenty of products, a table for showcasing items, a secured cash box/apron/fanny bag with change, and Girl Scout signage to display at your booth. On the day of activity, check in with the store owner/manager to inform them you have arrived and to receive any special instructions from store management.

To secure a booth, contact the store owner/manager and establish a time and date your Girl Scout/Troop will be there. Bring plenty of products, a table for showcasing items, a cashbox with change, and Girl Scout signage to display at your booth. On the day of activity, check in with the store owner/manager to inform them you have arrived and to receive any special instructions from store management.

Girl Scouts has the opportunity to increase their 2025 Fall Product Program line-up by participating online with M2 Media. Girl Scouts send emails to family and friends, inviting them to support their Fall Product sales efforts by purchasing a wide variety of products. All orders and payments online will be automatically credited to the girl.

The online platform M2 Media allows customers to buy a variety of products for Direct Ship and Girl Delivery.

Tervis Tumbler – Double -walled, shatterproof Classic tumblers, & water bottles keep your drinks cold and hands dry. Tumblers range in various sizes, types and designs. Tervis Tumblers are available for direct ship only.

Girl Scout Themed Mini Bark Box – Now your pup can get their own badges, plus a marshmellow on a stick toy, and Berry Trios one-of-a-kind treats. These items are available for direct ship only.

Magazines – Top selling magazines offered, easy renewals, and a no cost shipping option. Customers can purchase for themselves or as a gift for others. Once a customer has the girl link for her online store, a catalog of magazine options is available. There are even some “bundled” magazines grouped together purchasing options. Magazine orders are direct ship only.

Nuts and Chocolates – All items featured on the order card and more! These items are available for direct ship. A customer orders, pays and the product is shipped directly to customer.

Care to Share Donation Program toggle arrow

Care to Share Donation Program

Customers not wishing to purchase products have the option to donate $9.00 towards the Care to Share Program. Care to Share donations goes towards Operation Gratitude serving first responders, medical professionals and the miliary.

The Care to Share patch is received when a participating Girl Scout receives a combined total of 5 Care to Share donations. This includes online and in-person nut order card orders.
