The Empowering Leaders Inauguration Watch Party aims to inspire Girl Scouts to become active and informed citizens, promoting a lifelong commitment to democracy and civic engagement.
During this interactive watch party, participants will:
- Watch the live inauguration ceremony alongside fellow Girl Scouts from across the nation.
- Explore the significance of the inauguration process and its role in American democracy through guided discussions and activities.
- Complete badge requirements by participating in interactive sessions focused on the importance of voting, the structure of the U.S. government, and the responsibilities of citizenship.
This event is open to all Girl Scouts currently registered and in grades K-12. Girl Scouts working towards their Democracy badge are highly encouraged to attend.

This is an Early Bird Event. Please bring your Early Bird All Access Pass to ensure access to added bonuses and incentives the day of the event.
Event Policy:
Refunds and Cancellations: Transfers, cancellations, or refund requests must be made in writing to customercare@girlscoutsccs.org 30 days before the event's registration deadline. There are no refunds after the deadline or closing date of the event. Dates shown in the cancellation policy below are strictly to allow staff the ability to process cancellations for all events, year-round and are not specific to this event. Please see the registration end date to determine the cancellation deadline for this event.
Program Credits: Choose Program Credits as the payment method to redeem Cookie Dough/Nut Bucks/Renewal Program Credits. Registration will not be finalized until Program Credits have been approved, processed by staff, and the Cookie Dough and Nut Bucks Form has been submitted https://www.cognitoforms.com/GirlScoutsOfCentralCaliforniaSouth/onlineregistrationdigitalcookiedoughnutbuckspaymentform. This form must be received to complete registration. When using program credits at checkout, please allow 2-3 days for approval. Events and activities do sell out quickly, so it is recommended that members register early.
Special Accommodations: GSCCS is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for attendees who may have special circumstances or needs who may require alternative planning.
