Outdoor Training is a required training if Volunteers are planning to take their Troop on an outdoor overnight trip and/or cooking outdoors. Outdoor Training is completed in two parts: Outdoor Trip Planning Training is a pre-meeting and is required before you go to the Outdoor Skills Training. Outdoor Skills Training covers hands-on outdoor skills and cooking.
Please keep an eye out for communications with a detailed supplies list and what to expect the day of the event.
After completing this fun training series, volunteers are invited to visit our GoldMine Stores to purchase the Outdoor Training Patch and charm to display on their uniforms
After completing this fun training series, girls are invited to visit our GoldMine Stores to purchase the Outdoor Skills Patch and charms to display on their uniforms.
Cancellations:
As a courtesy to our waitlisted registrants, members registered for this event are encouraged to cancel at least 7 days prior to the close the event's registration by contacting customercare@girlscoutsccs.org. This event is a free event; there are no refunds issued on no cost events.
