Meeting Topic: Traditions
In Girl
Scouts, every girl deserves the opportunity to change the world. You
will start this adventure as a member of a Super Troop! The GSCCS
Super Troop is a Girl Scout Troop led by council staff and supported
by Girl Scout families and volunteers.
This is a meeting
specifically for permanent and temporary members of the Girl Scout
Super Troop - it is not a badge workshop.
Designed with
every girl in mind, Super Troop is the best place for girls to start
unleashing their inner superpower and share the sisterhood of Girl
Scouts with girls from across our council. A Super Troop can be the
first troop or the permanent troop for girls to experience Girl
Scouting. Sometimes, volunteer-led troops take time to find or form,
so girls can join us for a few meetings or forever. Together, Super
Troop members learn what makes each Girl Scout unique - it's also what
makes her powerful. As a new Super Troop member, Girl Scouts may opt
to make a home in our Super Troop family by becoming an official
member or choose to participate in meetings and activities with their
Super Troop sisters until finding or forming a volunteer-led Troop
closer to home becomes available. Either way, Super Troop is here for
every girl to grow, learn, and adventure with Girl Scouts. Join our
bi-weekly Super Troop meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each
month.
