Who says you need to travel far to have an unforgettable spring break? Girls will dive into the magic of their own backyard, exploring nature, creating art, and sharing stories that celebrate their local surroundings. It's a staycation packed with creativity, discovery, and outdoor fun!

Throughout the three-day program, girls will:

  • Explore nature through a guided educational hike
  • Learn about local plants, ecosystems, and outdoor awareness
  • Create their own flower arrangements with stepbystep guidance
  • Visit Murray Family Farms for agriculture learning and handson farm experiences
  • Build outdoor confidence through girlled discovery and teamwork
  • Strengthen independence and outdoor readiness

What to Expect on Day 1:

Campers will travel to Tejon Ranch for an educational hike led by the expert team at the Tejon Ranch Conservancy. Girls will explore the unique California landscape, discover native plants and wildlife, and learn how conservation helps protect these beautiful spaces.

Along the trail, campers will begin their nature journaling journey - observing, sketching, and recording discoveries like real naturalists. With Conservancy educators guiding the way, girls will build curiosity, confidence, and a deeper awareness of the natural world around them.
