Summer's calling and adventure awaits right in our own backyard. Girl Scouts will hit the road locally to uncover the hidden gems of their town. From local businesses to meaningful community landmarks, girls will explore what makes their area unique while learning more about the people and places that shape it.
Along the way, they will build confidence, curiosity, and community connection while making new friends and creating unforgettable summer memories. Get ready to see your town through a whole new lens.
What to Expect on Day 1:
Girls will arrive at the Dignity Health Convention Center and be welcomed by the team, who will introduce them to the various spaces, tools, and roles that bring events to life. They will participate in a guided tour led by experienced staff, exploring different areas of the venue while learning how large-scale events are managed from start to finish.
During the visit, staff will share insight into their daily tasks, explaining what it takes to coordinate events, manage teams, and maintain a seamless experience for guests. Through observation, interaction, and real-world examples, girls will gain a deeper understanding of how these roles come together behind the scenes. This experience will open their eyes to new career possibilities, leaving them feeling inspired, empowered, and excited about future opportunities.

Camperships Are Available
Thanks to the generous support of the Waverly Grant, Girl Scouts of Central California South is offering camperships (camp scholarships) to help 5th and 6th grade Girl Scouts attend Summer Twilight Camp. These camperships help ensure every girl has the opportunity to enjoy an amazing camp experience-regardless of financial barriers.

Important: Selecting "Other" does not automatically apply the discount. Families must complete the Campership Application to be considered.

Camperships are awarded based on need and availability. We encourage any family who would benefit from financial support to apply. Our goal is to make Day Camp accessible to as many Girl Scouts as possible.
